Salarian Engineer, Geth Engineer = Viper sniper rifleĪsari Infiltrator = Blood Pack Executioner pistol There are some I don't bother with due to their weakness (*cough* Geth Pulse Rifle*cough*), but right now some of loadouts look like this. weapons: while there might be a best assault rifle and a best pistol and such, I enjoy equipping my characters with different guns just for the sake of variety. (I also have the aforementioned evolution of Siege Pulse that causes each stored charge to make you resistant to damage, so that helps and I usually don't fire off my pulses until the very end of a wave.)

Between that and the heavy melee, and being able to put up a hex shield to block incoming fire from a particular direction, it usually takes two or three Brutes/Banshees/Scions/Praetorians/Atlases/Primes hitting him all at once to drain my shields faster than they can recharge. I have my Jug equipped with a Geth Spitfire-a very heavy weapon-and even with that the cooldown on the turret is pretty short, so I can keep on dropping them if they get destroyed. The Juggernaut, OTOH, can drop a geth turret which keeps boosting his shields. (Or use up a missile if he's desperate, I guess.) Because he can't do anything except run away if killing whatever's hitting him isn't an option. The person who is really hurt by the inability to take cover is the Krogan Warlord, with his regenerating health and tankiness only partially making up for it. Really? I thought that without the ability to run or take cover that I would be killed faster then my heavy melee could recharge.
